  Episcopal Housing of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. is a not for profit Pennsylvania corporation that owns and operates Episcopal House in Allentown.

This building was sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem in 1968.

The building is funded and subsidized by the Federal Government through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developments (HUD) Section 202 Loan Program and Rental Subsidy Program (15 subsidized units only).

The main purpose of the Corporation is to provide housing for persons over the age of 62.
 
Episcopal House is a smoke free environment.
 
Effective July 1, 2010
The rent for a one bedroom apartment is...... $480 a month
The rent for a studio apartment is...... $370 a month
 
Utilities and cable are included
 
Maximum income allowed:
single person - $39,200 a year
two (2) persons - $44,800 a year
 
Income includes Social Security, pension, interest from investments,
2.0% of other assets such as home, property, etc.
 
All income must be reported and verified by our office.
